Hey Tony,
I looked at your site and would be interested in booking a consultation. I started a project last year, recording three original songs at a local recording studio. I don’t have a band so I sing, play guitar, bass and keyboards to a drum track – the disadvantages are that’s it’s time consuming and stretches my abilities, the advantages are there’s no one to argue with! 🙂
My aim for this project is to avoid as many cliches as possible. I’m not that open mic guy with an acoustic guitar singing, ‘Wish you Were Here’ for the thousandth time or play distorted Les Pauls who wants to be in an AC/DC tribute band and for God’s Sakes NO COUNTRY! Well, maybe ironically :). I don’t want to be yet another middle aged guy who’s finally made an album to put on Spotify that no one, outside his relatives, will even listen to let alone buy. I don’t care if no one listens to it, let alone buys it. I just want to make music. I’ve composed many songs which I’ve whittled down to nine but nothing is set in stone.
What I’m looking for is an engineer who has an eclectic musical taste who can suggest alternatives with the view to creating the best music we can.
