Anthony Blaine has been a staple in the independent music scene for almost 15 years, in which he has sponsored countless local events and has professionally recorded over 200 bands and songwriters. Many of these artists have since turned all their hard work into success by securing radio rotation and winning numerous band contests. And some are just happy to have their creations on a timeless platform, or to pass on to their grandchildren and so on. Regardless of your genre, musical skill level and aspirations, one thing is for sure. You will be hooked.

“Every second I spend with an artist leads to their final product. I’m constantly reading peoples energies and am always focused on having a common vision. I make a conscious effort to never mask anyones unique personalities by overproducing, and yet I ensure all the technical elements (timing, tone, articulation, pitch etc.) are flawless. I bring out strengths and taper weaknesses, all while keeping an organic character to the sound. That’s what music production should always be. It’s that human quality which conveys feelings and messages the most.”

Anthony is also a classical piano teacher certified by the Royal Conservatory of Music. Before opening his first studio location in 2004, he worked for over 40 families weekly, teaching piano, voice and guitar.

With over a thousand performances under his belt, his role in the successful party band http://www.newsoulduo.com is the lead singer/guitar player. They perform for 300-1000 people per weekend at corporate functions and weddings. This includes international experience in Japan, Bahrain, and the United States.

Anthony is also a songwriter in original music projects ranging from soft pop to hard rock. But with over 100 recordings of his own, they are few and far in between in terms of being able to track them down. “I struggle with releasing material and keeping available as I have a bit of a perfectionist complex. At the very least I’m consistently improving my chops as a musician and producer, where my hard work and skills won’t go to waste.”

Besides the business of music, Anthony is an outdoor enthusiast, a dog-dad, loves to travel, plays recreational sports and he’s always being creative with other activities such as cooking, photography and gardening. He has a very relaxed and positive outlook on life, considering how hard he works and plays. “Like most people, I just try everyday to be a solid human being. After all, it’s how you make others feel which they will soak in and remember. Just like recorded music. Everything else is transparent.”
